Pizza Night!

Rello-

This is Daisy dog. Rachel, Ella, and Mommy headed up to Calhoun this past week to go visiting with cousins and cousin dogs. I had to stay home. Mommy and Daddy said it was to get "blessed" at the church, but I decided that I would have none of that. So I took off that morning. Daddy thought I would be back in plenty of time to get blessed. Boy, was he wrong. I reappeared thirty minutes before noon. So no, blessing for me. Mommy later reminded Daddy that he could have picked up some blessing water "to go" but he'd not thought about that.

However, the weekend wasn't all bad. Daddy played with me some. I got dessert and lots of extra attention. Mommy left the special dessert for me, before they all headed out for Calhoun. She told me that I'll get to go next time. I can hardly wait.

The other really exciting thing about Mommy's trip was that Daddy decided to buy pizza for supper the night that she returned. Mommy and Daddy really enjoyed that. I think that Mommy was very pleased. I just wish that Daddy had told her it was my idea.

Mommy must have figured that out on her own though, because the very next night she let Rachel and me have pizza! I think it was Daddy's pizza that she shared with us because it had meat on it. YUM!! I didn't care much for the crust though, and just ate the cheese, meat and sauce off of the top. Mommy thought that was funny.

I sure love it when Mommy does nice things like that for us. Maybe next time Rachel will tell you all about the new treats that Mommy ordered for us. Dogfully, I think that she should give us treats and special suppers every night. What do y'all think?

New Treats!

Rello everyone-
I want to begin by thanking Tia, CM, and Sitka for invigorating our Momma. Not only did she finally allow us to start out own blog, but she has been pampering us too. We've (pups) have been able to come back in and visit with her in the mornings while she's getting ready for work rather than just hanging out with everyone in the evenings. She has our morning twist (treat) waiting of course. Then she pours our breakfasts into bowls for us too. In the evenings we've been getting cheese on top of our food. And yesterday she came home from the store with new chicken treats! WOOOOO!!! And Ella (the little one in the house) started trying to hand out treats too.

But the news gets even better. Momma is talking about taking us to the park again. An adventure we used to have every day and we've abandoned during the last month or so. I can hardly wait to hear that it's time to "Go" again! Momma promises that at the latest we'll be back at the park daily by next week. Daisy and I could hardly believe our puppy ears! The park is the coolest. It has a huge mud puddle to splash about in. There are always new smells to explore. Then there's the thrill of knowing that we can can run free and do what we please. We absolutely love the park!

Hang on to your leashes though, there's more. Momma also ordered treats for us all today. She told Abby that she was doing so because it's pay day and had just realized that we'd not had fresh bakery treats since July. Now, I'll tell you, this lack of new treats had not snuck by me at all, but I was behaving like a proper German-Shepherd should and hadn't mentioned the matter. I knew it would rectify itself and it has. Woooo!!!

So as Abby tells me (she was over seeing the order as Mom made it) we have chicken snaps coming to us and Halloween cookies. And Abby has salmon crisps and sardine ones too. Abby mentioned this was the first time Momma has ordered bakery treats for her. She is overcome with excitement. Who would have thought?

So for all you pups and cats out there reading, let me encourage you to remind your parents that Halloween is just around the corner, and perhaps they will rush out to get you some treats too!

Late Night Inspiration

Momma told us all about Cornelia Mae's, Tia's and Sitka's website and we are so excited that we've finally convinced her to start one for us too. However, it's really, really late and we're all tired (I'm the only one even still awake). See--- So we are going to share all about our adventures with you tomorrow! We can hardly wait! We finally have our own website! Me-oW!
